Our work depends on an Information Technology Support Specialist joining our team to provide technical support and troubleshooting services for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. You will respond to queries either in person or over the phone, ensuring that users receive the assistance they need in a timely manner. As an Information Technology Support Specialist, you will provide technical support and troubleshooting to network, desktop, and/or systems hardware and software. You may coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals, applying basic diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions. You will also provide remote support access through desktop mirroring and other remote access applications for worldwide sites. Your role will involve identifying, investigating, resolving, and following up on problems brought to the helpdesk by users of cloud infrastructure, ensuring that all issues are addressed effectively and efficiently. To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in IT support, with experience in installing, modifying, and repairing computer hardware and software both in person and using remote access tools. You will be required to obtain an IAT Level 1 certificate within six months of your start date, and you must hold a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph. Your ability to maintain current knowledge of relevant technology will be crucial in providing the best support possible to our users.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 1+ years of related experience in IT support.
  • Required technical skills in installing, modifying, and repairing computer hardware and software.
  • IAT Level 1 certificate is required within 6 months of start date.
  • Must possess TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
