About the position

The IT Support Specialist, Associate role at Capital One is designed to provide onsite customer support for a geographically dispersed enterprise workforce. This position focuses on delivering technology support operations, including end user support, IT incident management, change management, and problem management. The ideal candidate will excel in customer service and quick decision-making to resolve technical issues, particularly with email support and administration, while enhancing the end user experience and driving operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite customer support for a geographically dispersed workforce.
  • Manage IT incidents and ensure effective resolution of technical issues.
  • Administer email support and related technologies.
  • Implement change management and problem management processes.
  • Collaborate with peers and influence leadership effectively.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
  • At least 1 year of Technical Operations experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience with IT systems and infrastructure.
  • At least 1 year of experience with desktop platforms and operating systems.
  • At least 1 year of experience with incident management and reporting tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
  • At least 1 year of experience with process management functions (change, incident, problem).
  • ITIL Certification.
  • At least 1 year of experience with ServiceNow.
  • Experience administering Google Workspace, Microsoft Exchange, Proofpoint, and Virtru.
  • Experience with public cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
