About the position

As an IT Support Specialist for Endpoints at Dowbuilt, you will play a crucial role in assisting employees with their endpoints and peripherals. Your responsibilities will include managing printing services across the company, responding to incidents, and providing help desk and SaaS application support. You will be involved in the preparation and purchasing of equipment, ensuring that all endpoints and peripherals are adequately stocked and maintained. This includes tracking leases, reporting to accounting, and coordinating maintenance for existing equipment. You will also be responsible for setting up job sites and providing support to employees both locally and remotely. In your role, you will provide end-user help desk support, which includes training employees on hardware and software usage. You will manage incident responses, which involves containment, recovery, prevention, documentation, and communication in line with internal cybersecurity protocols. Additionally, you will serve as the lead administrator for one or more of Dowbuilt's SaaS applications, such as Egnyte, HRIS, Acumatica, and O365. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive, customer service-driven approach will be essential in representing Dowbuilt professionally. To succeed in this position, you will need to demonstrate strong organizational skills, the ability to juggle competing deadlines, and a flexible, adaptable mindset. You will be expected to establish and maintain effective relationships with management, employees, vendors, and the general public, all while operating with integrity and emotional intelligence. Your role will also involve seeking solutions and resolving problems independently, contributing to a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of endpoints
  • Purchasing of equipment: endpoints and peripherals
  • Managing printing services company-wide: leases - tracking, ending, reporting to accounting
  • Coordination of the maintenance of existing equipment
  • Stocking of toner and paper
  • Identification and acquisition of new equipment
  • Job site setup and support
  • Providing end user help desk support for local and remote employees
  • Providing end user training in hardware and software
  • Managing containment, recovery, prevention, documentation, and communication in accordance with internal protocols for cybersecurity incidents
  • Being proficient at MS O365 Entra administration
  • Being lead admin for one or more of Dowbuilt's SaaS applications, such as Egnyte, HRIS, Acumatica, O365

Requirements

  • Certificate training or degree in IT preferred (CompTIA, Microsoft Fundamentals, IT or CS degree or equivalent)
  • Experience at a help desk or with equipment
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Experience with applications such as Smartsheet, Egnyte, Slack, and Jira is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle competing deadlines and projects
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with management, employees, vendors, and the general public
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow through in a timely manner
  • A customer service mindset
  • Ability to seek solutions and resolve problems independently

Nice-to-haves
