About the position

The IT Support Specialist III (Senior) role focuses on providing production support for software applications, particularly in the area of Robotic Process Automation (RPA). The position involves modifying existing programs, writing new software, and resolving production issues while collaborating with various teams and vendors. The role requires both technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills to effectively support users and manage production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, integrate, and operate Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions using Blue Prism and other RPA technologies.
• Support, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
• Allocate, maintain, and support servers and virtual machines running the environment.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore developers while operating the environment.
• Assist with training and mentoring other team members.
• Collaborate with internal technology teams to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Work with outside vendors to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Design, develop, unit test, and integrate RPA solutions.
• Participate in requirements definition.
• Complete proof of concepts.
• Learn new systems, applications, technologies, and business domains.
• Comply with all team and corporate standards and guidelines.
• Complete tasks independently as well as in a team setting.
• Enjoy multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Course work toward a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or successful completion of Technology Bootcamp.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in developing or operating web-based applications in a corporate environment.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of applications.

• 1+ years developing RPA solutions using Blue Prism.
• 1+ years developing JavaScript web applications.
• 1+ years developing .Net applications (web based or desktop).
• 1+ years developing VBA (Microsoft Office macros) applications.
• 1+ years developing mainframe scripting applications (Passport, Attachmate).
• 1+ years developing RPA solutions using Automation Anywhere, UIPath and/or Ruby Cucumber.
• 1+ years integrating RPA solutions with various enterprise applications including ServiceNow, Salesforce, Hogan, Checkvision, and IBM Case Manager.
