About the position

The IT Support Specialist at Cutting Edge Computers Inc. is responsible for installing, configuring, optimizing, and deploying computers and IT peripherals. This role requires strong communication skills and customer service experience, as the specialist will interact with clients daily and follow tasks assigned by the Service Team Lead.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and optimize computers and IT peripherals.
• Format computers and copy data as needed.
• Configure printers and install cables.
• Follow tasks assigned by the Service Team Lead.
• Interact with clients and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (Required)
• 1 year of relevant IT experience (Required)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (Required)
• Excellent communication skills (Required)
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP (Required)
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory (Required)
• Experience with Windows 10 and Windows 7 (Required)
• Ability to follow simple tasks with high attention to detail (Required)

Nice-to-haves

• Associate Degree (Preferred)
• 1 year of help desk experience (Preferred)
• 1 year of Windows experience (Preferred)
