About the position

The IT Support Specialist at Aramark is responsible for managing the day-to-day IT needs for Lifeworks Restaurant Group - Walmart. This role involves providing hands-on support for various IT systems, particularly Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, and ensuring alignment with the IT Operations Manager. The specialist will also be involved in training, monitoring system status, resolving IT incidents, and ensuring high-quality IT service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide training of POS systems
  • Provide technical support of POS systems, applications, interfaces, and other systems
  • Monitor system status and react to issues as they arise
  • Resolve IT incidents and problems
  • Responsible for proactive support and maintenance around POS systems
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services to support the business
  • Work cooperatively and take direction from the IT Operations Manager
  • Available for weekend on-call rotation in support of Spark Café Truck

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working with IT systems preferred, specifically with Point-of-Sale systems
  • Basic understanding of IT systems and infrastructure
  • Proven ability to effectively troubleshoot IT issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
