About the position

The IT Support Specialist role is focused on providing technical assistance to users in the Beachwood, OH office and remote locations. This position involves troubleshooting and resolving issues related to computer systems, software, and network connectivity, ensuring smooth operations for all users.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to computer system users in person and via web conferencing tools.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and evaluate computer equipment, software, and network problems.
• Support PC computer hardware and software, operating systems, software installation, and specialty software.
• Assist with equipment setups, directory access requests, printing, emailing, WIFI connectivity, and LAN phones.
• Provide backup coverage to the IT/Business Systems Specialist.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5+ years of relevant IT experience.
• Excellent knowledge of technical PC hardware and software, and peripheral computer equipment.
• Experience using and supporting a cloud-based employee population.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook, Google Chrome, Cofax PDF Viewer.
• Demonstrated experience with network programming languages and information system management concepts.
• General knowledge of ERP and business process management software.
• Strong organizational skills and experience with IT corporate team projects.
