About the position

Cortica is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide tier 1, 2, and 3 support to clinic and corporate staff, focusing on troubleshooting issues with PCs, printers, and network-attached devices. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of IT services within a rapidly growing healthcare company that specializes in pediatric neurodevelopmental care. The IT Support Specialist will assist with user account management, equipment setup, and process improvement projects, contributing to the overall mission of delivering life-changing care to children and families.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tier 1, 2, and 3 support to clinic and corporate staff.
  • Troubleshoot problems with PCs, printers, and other network-attached devices.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including account creation and deactivation.
  • Log and assign support tickets and emergency requests.
  • Follow up on support tickets to ensure customer satisfaction with IT services.
  • Understand the operations flow of IT applications and provide coverage for support operations as needed.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of process improvement projects.
  • Assist with user account creation in AzureAD/O365, Athena, and Central Reach.
  • Manage the shipping and receiving of IT equipment, including setting up laptops and iPads.
  • Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems.
  • Provide remote support for telehealth systems, including AV rooms and Zoom software.
  • Organize and maintain IT resources.

Requirements

  • Experience with Azure and software troubleshooting.
  • Mid-level experience with Windows and AWS.
  • Proficiency in Mac OS.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well in teams and a strong work ethic.
  • Attention to detail and ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Nice-to-haves

  • Windows 10 and macOS troubleshooting experience.
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as O365, Azure, and AWS.
  • Previous healthcare IT experience.
