About the position

The IT Support Specialist at V2X will provide essential support to the NIPO customer at the Washington Navy Yard, focusing on information technology management. This role involves issuing, tracking, and troubleshooting mobile devices and IT peripherals, as well as serving as a liaison between Navy IPO personnel and the DONCIO Mobility Team. The specialist will also manage VoIP systems, ensuring compliance with relevant policies, and provide training to both IT staff and end users.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as liaison between Navy IPO personnel and DONCIO Mobility Team.
  • Submit ITD tickets for mobile device issuance and issues.
  • Assist users with mobile device setup and troubleshooting.
  • Issue and track Mobile User Agreements and IT peripheral equipment.
  • Perform duties of Access Control Specialist/Receptionist when needed.
  • Respond to IT helpdesk inquiries and assist with trouble calls.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the NIPO VoIP system.
  • Deploy, configure, and support Cisco VoIP hardware and software.
  • Develop solutions for complex VoIP issues and communicate findings to management.
  • Provide training on VoIP troubleshooting and configuration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Qualifying Experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years of direct experience in relevant fields such as SA/FMS programs or international cooperative programs.
  • Completion of required formal courses: DISCS SCM-FA-OL, DISCS SCM-OC-OL, DISCS IPSR-OL.
  • An active Secret Clearance may be required.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
