About the position

The IT Support Specialist at Graduation Alliance plays a crucial role in providing high-quality customer service and technical support to students and staff. This position involves interacting with users through various communication channels to ensure a stable and dependable service desk experience. The specialist will be responsible for addressing IT-related inquiries, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with the IT team to resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Promptly answer requests for assistance from students and staff.
• Provide timely follow-up to any unresolved requests.
• Ensure accurate data entry of all service desk contacts into the tracking system.
• Escalate questions requiring additional expertise to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with other requests made by the IT Support Team Leader.
• Attend all work shifts punctually and completely.
• Maintain high attention to customer satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with management and stakeholders regarding tasks and projects.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience providing IT help desk support.
• Ability to think like a customer and analyze complex problems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Keen attention to detail and self-motivated.
• Ability to operate under deadlines and manage multiple workloads.

• CompTIA A+ certification (or equivalent)
