About the position
The IT Support Specialist position is essential for providing exceptional technology support to staff across multiple locations from the headquarters in Pittsburgh. The role involves a variety of responsibilities including PC setup, network support, and involvement in new technology projects, ensuring that all staff have the necessary tools and support for their technology needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional technology support to all Advantage staff at all locations.
- Perform PC builds, refreshes, and repairs.
- Set up and configure PCs and peripherals.
- Manage asset entry and maintenance.
- Maintain Office 365/Exchange email system.
- Provide network support, setup, and troubleshooting, including cabling.
- Support and troubleshoot printers and multi-function devices.
- Configure, set up, and troubleshoot VoIP phone systems.
- Set up, configure, and troubleshoot mobile devices.
- Assist in new facility transitions with on-site support and hardware configuration.
- Engage in new technology projects and rollouts.
Requirements
- At least two years of IT support experience in an office environment, including remote and phone support.
- Minimum two-year degree from a college or trade school.
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer support.
- Experience with help desk ticketing and asset management systems.
- Skilled in using remote troubleshooting tools with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in Office 365/Exchange administration, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience in firewall/switch/wireless AP configuration; Ubiquiti and Meraki experience is a plus.
- Experience with Active Directory/Azure/Entra AD administration.
- Proficiency in supporting a Windows 10/11 and Office 365 environment.
- Experience with Apple iOS and MDM management tools.
- Ability to perform basic PC/laptop/printer hardware repairs.
- SharePoint Online experience is a plus.
