About the position

YINLUN TDI, LLC, a leading provider of thermal management solutions to the US Automotive, Commercial Truck, and Off-Highway markets, has an immediate opening for an IT Support Specialist at the newly established headquarters in Houston, Texas. Renowned for its exceptional engineering and manufacturing systems, we are looking for a highly motivated professional dedicated to meeting the increasing demands of our customers while protecting the environment. YINLUN TDI, LLC maintains sales and engineering facilities in Michigan, Illinois, and North Carolina and is poised for significant growth in conventional heat exchangers in the Hybrid, EV, and autonomous driving sectors. As an ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949-certified company, we manufacture heat exchangers and fluid cooling components for the automotive, heavy truck, bus, and military markets. The IT Support Specialist serves as a key point of contact for all incoming support requests, handling both onsite and remote user issues. In this role, you will manage and resolve IT tickets, ensuring thorough documentation of the actions taken and the final resolution. For issues that cannot be resolved immediately, you will escalate them to the appropriate IT team member. Your contributions are essential to maintaining the performance of our technology infrastructure, including workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor-specific hardware and software. In addition to managing support requests, you will assist the IT team with system monitoring and other tasks as assigned by the manager.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve IT support issues utilizing the company's ticketing system.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems reported by users.
  • Provide on-site and remote support to internal associates for all technology-related issues.
  • Assist users with configuring drivers, personal settings, and printers.
  • Configure and upgrade desktop, laptop, and telephony hardware for new and existing users.
  • Install and configure software applications, including MS Office, Adobe, and other necessary tools.
  • Support and maintain LANs, WANs, network segments, and intranet systems.
  • Ensure the integrity of network infrastructure, server deployment, and security protocols.
  • Monitor and optimize system efficiency.
  • Recommend and implement upgrades to enhance system performance.
  • Contribute to special projects as assigned.
  • Assist in coordinating with third-party suppliers and vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a technology-related field.
  • One year of experience in IT support or related IT infrastructure roles.
  • Fundamental knowledge of PC hardware, routing, switching, and VoIP phones.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and Windows operating systems.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong organizational abilities.
  • Team player who is detail-oriented and adaptable.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and interruptions.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness and ability to travel between locations as needed.
