The IS Support Specialist supports the organization's Information Technology and security needs through its active growth stages by providing comprehensive technical support for our home office and clinic locations. Responsible for managing IT systems, providing troubleshooting support, and ensuring the seamless operation of hardware, software, and communication systems. Key Responsibilities Home Office IT Support Provide on-site and remote IT support for home office staff, ensuring smooth operations of all IT systems. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, and mobile devices. Computer Imaging and Deployment Prepare and deploy computer systems using imaging software for efficient and consistent setups. Ensure all systems are up-to-date with the latest software patches and security updates. Technical Support Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for home office staff. Provide hands-on support for peripheral devices, including printers, scanners, and mobile devices. Phone System Management Administer and maintain the office VOIP phone systems, ensuring they are fully operational. Offer training and support for end-users, assisting with setup and troubleshooting. Clinic Support Assist with IT help desk tickets and troubleshoot technical issues for clinic staff. Provide on-site support and occasional remote assistance as needed. Troubleshoot Ticket Management Manage and resolve support tickets from over 150 clinic locations, ensuring quick resolution times. Collaborate with other IT staff to monitor ticket progress and escalate issues as needed. System Maintenance Proactively monitor and maintain clinic IT systems for performance issues, ensuring uptime and stability. Coordinate with third-party vendors for specialized support and services. Special Projects Assist with special IT projects as directed by the IT Director, including system upgrades, migrations, and technology rollouts. Upgrades and Implementations Participate in the rollout of new technologies, systems, and software updates. Provide training, documentation, and support for new systems and processes. Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a similar technical support role. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Technical Proficiency : In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Windows Server, etc.). Familiarity with Active Directory and network troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with VOIP phone systems and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, etc.). Problem-Solving Skills : Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities to resolve technical issues efficiently. Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with users and team members. Teamwork : Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Customer Service Orientation : Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing high-quality service to end-users. Physical and Travel Requirements Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to clinic locations as needed. Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
