The IT Support Specialist at Wolf River Hospitality Group plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT and low voltage systems across the company's various restaurant concepts. This position involves installing and configuring IT systems and applications, responding to inquiries, and troubleshooting technical challenges that arise within the organization. The specialist will actively maintain and monitor all aspects of the company's systems, ensuring that any network interruptions are swiftly resolved. Additionally, the role requires analyzing, diagnosing, and troubleshooting hardware problems, maintaining a detailed log of system updates, and organizing documentation related to warranties and instructional guides for hardware. In this position, the IT Support Specialist will also assist management in creating training materials that pertain to systems and hardware troubleshooting, ensuring that all staff are well-equipped to handle basic technical issues. A significant aspect of the role includes managing the audio-visual infrastructure at Nashoba and across all other WRHG concepts, which encompasses LED walls, extensive stage lighting, and audio mixing. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service focus, a positive attitude, and a desire to contribute to the growth of a local brand while enjoying the dynamic environment of the restaurant industry.

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure IT and Low Voltage systems and applications within the company
  • Respond to inquiries and assist in troubleshooting and resolving challenges
  • Actively update, maintain and monitor all aspects of company systems and applications
  • Resolve technical issues related to network interruptions
  • Analyze, troubleshoot and diagnose hardware problems
  • Maintain a working log detailing all required system updates and completion dates
  • Organize and file documentation pertaining to warranties and instructional guides for hardware
  • Assist management in creating training materials for systems and hardware troubleshooting and usage
  • Manage the audio-visual infrastructure at Nashoba and across all other WRHG concepts, including LED walls, extensive stage lighting, and audio mixing.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a customer-focused position involving technical knowledge of a company's products and services
  • Education in a related field may substitute for experience
  • Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution
  • Comfortable working in and assisting others through company help desk software
  • Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently
  • Experience with PA system and stage lighting controls is a plus.
