About The Position

The IT Support Specialist is a vital member of the Technology Helpdesk team, dedicated to providing exceptional support and assistance for the technology needs of both on-site and remote staff, as well as off-site branch office clients. This role involves responding to service issues and requests in a timely manner, whether in person or over the phone, ensuring that all interactions are professional and meet the established service standards. The IT Support Specialist will also support the IT team in maintenance tasks and special projects as assigned, coordinating agreed-upon fixes and maintaining consistent communication with users. In this position, the IT Support Specialist will be responsible for a variety of technical support tasks, including troubleshooting user workstation, printer, and phone issues, as well as software installation and configuration. The role also includes coordinating technology and platform onboarding for new users, both on-site and off-site. The IT Support Specialist will be involved in the installation, setup, and troubleshooting of computer hardware, software, phones, networks, printers, and scanners, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. Additionally, the IT Support Specialist will assist with user account management on Active Directory and other firm platforms, log cases, and escalate issues as necessary. Maintaining technology documentation on applications, systems, and procedures is also a key responsibility. The role may involve basic SmartStation support, coordinating installations for new users or systems, and troubleshooting basic configuration errors. The IT Support Specialist will also be expected to perform various other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the IT department.
