About the position

The IT Support Specialist will provide Tier 1 desktop, network, and server support in a high-complexity, compliance-focused environment. This role is crucial for supporting approximately 600 users, emphasizing customer service and problem-solving to address inbound requests with urgency. The position also involves monitoring onsite IT systems and managing warehouse devices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide desktop and hardware support, including MS Office, Active Directory, Landesk, Cisco hardware, and MDT imaging for PCs.
  • Manage ticketing through SysAid, prioritizing 10-22 active high-priority tickets.
  • Assist with deployment, support, and setup of mobile devices and RF units.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and conduct end-user training sessions.
  • Engage external vendors for services, support warehouse equipment, and maintain technical documentation.
  • Assist in technology planning and budgeting and maintain an inventory of spare parts and electronic waste.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required, associate degree or technical school preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in IT support, familiarity with O365, and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong multitasking, troubleshooting, and critical-thinking abilities; capable of working independently.
