About the position

The IT Support Supervisor at GOFO Express is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to network systems, hardware, and software. This role requires a strong understanding of IT support principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage and optimize network infrastructure across multiple warehouse locations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various departments to enhance operational efficiency and user experience, while also leading technical training programs and overseeing IT infrastructure planning for new warehouses.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize network infrastructure across all warehouse locations, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of network equipment.
  • Collaborate closely with domestic product and IT teams to provide strategic recommendations for improving the user experience of the GF App.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of common issues and root causes within the GF App, utilizing advanced troubleshooting techniques to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Regularly monitor system and application performance, providing data-driven insights and recommending optimization solutions.
  • Maintain effective communication with various departments to ensure technical support aligns with business needs.
  • Evaluate and refine technical support processes, promoting internal knowledge management and establishing standard operating procedures.
  • Lead technical training programs, providing team members with training in network operations, system management, and application support.
  • Oversee strategic maintenance of monitoring systems, regularly assessing and upgrading equipment to enhance security and operational visibility.
  • Lead the planning and design of IT infrastructure for new warehouses, collaborating with project teams to ensure infrastructure meets business requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for emergency technical support, developing and implementing response plans.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, Mac OS), and desktop support
  • Familiarity with IT support best practices and help desk procedures
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
