About the position

The IT Support Technician I is responsible for providing first-level IT support to users, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues with IT equipment and applications, and maintaining inventory control of IT supplies. This role involves both on-site and remote support, ensuring efficient operation of IT services within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for IT support inquiries.
• Respond to user inquiries and provide assessment for problems with IT equipment and applications.
• Maintain inventory control by tracking IT equipment and supplies.
• Categorize and record reported inquiries and solutions in the ticket system.
• Escalate complex issues to elevated IT team members.
• Provide phone queue and remote user support.
• Perform basic Windows OS desktop support and troubleshooting.
• Support and troubleshoot basic branch and office equipment.
• Provide on-site branch support.

Requirements

• Level 2 support experience in IT.
• Basic knowledge of Windows OS and desktop support.
• Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Ability to maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies.

Benefits

• Hourly rate starting at $25.69, increasing to $28.54 after 6 months.
• Hybrid work model (3 days on-site, 2 days remote).
