About the position
Adams Remco is seeking an entry-level IT Support Technician to provide IT service and support to a diverse client base across Indiana and Michigan. The role involves troubleshooting software and hardware issues, managing network connectivity, and ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possess strong communication skills, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end-users, addressing software troubleshooting and computer management issues.
- Assist with desktop support, including installation and configuration of hardware and software.
- Manage and troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including VPN and firewall configurations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support requests and resolutions.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance customer support and improve IT services.
Requirements
- 1-3 years relevant experience in IT support.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Windows desktop and server installation and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace administration.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
Nice-to-haves
- Industry certifications.
- Experience with Mac OS.
- Knowledge of Cat5/6 wiring.
- Experience with MFP printing and scanning setup.
