About the position

As an IT Support Technician II at Ariat International, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operations team by resolving technical issues across various disciplines within the company's facilities. This position requires a proactive approach to IT support, ensuring that employees have the necessary tools and systems to perform their jobs effectively. You will be the face of IT, addressing issues with professionalism and a focus on customer satisfaction, while also contributing to the improvement of IT processes and user productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Allocate, maintain, and troubleshoot IT equipment used in Ariat facilities.
  • Install, monitor, maintain, and repair system hardware, software, and peripheral equipment according to specifications.
  • Maintain operation of system hardware by monitoring functionality and performing preventative maintenance.
  • Work with network engineers and external vendors for warehouse technical support.
  • Administer user access in Windows Active Directory, O365, InTune, JIRA, and other applications.
  • Manage relationships and coordinate efforts with external technology suppliers.
  • Track, manage, and quickly resolve all issues through the JIRA ticketing system.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving system issues, including network, server OS, and application issues.
  • Contribute to the creation of standard procedures to streamline DITS team workflow.
  • Assist in training new hires.
  • Support customers from multiple buildings and remote locations.
  • Lift and move up to 50 pounds, and stand or walk for shifts lasting up to 10-12 hours.
  • Travel within the local or regional area to support customers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of corporate or distribution setting Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems support experience.
  • 2+ years' experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems.
  • 2+ years' experience maintaining thermal printers, troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals.
  • Above basic knowledge of network troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to rapidly identify and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.
