The IT Support Technician (Manufacturing) position at DivIHN is a critical role that supports the manufacturing operations in Wilmington, NC. In this role, the IT Support Technician will assist a team of engineers in providing production support and troubleshooting for 24/7 manufacturing operations. The technician will work closely with production associates, technicians, and engineers to ensure reliable equipment operation through automated control systems and user interfaces. The technician will also support process and product optimization efforts, contributing to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. Some after-hours, on-call support may be required, emphasizing the need for flexibility and dedication to the role. The ideal candidate will have a background in computer science or a related field, with a strong understanding of technical support in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities

• Assist a team of engineers to provide production support and troubleshooting for 24/7 manufacturing operations.
• Work with production associates, technicians, and engineers to ensure reliable equipment operation via automated control systems and user interfaces.
• Support process and product optimization/improvement efforts.
• Participate in or occasionally lead projects to meet the plant's objectives.
• Assist in the management of the Client's warehouse system, coordinating between planners and ERP application engineers.
• Provide after-hours, on-call support as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, or Associate's Degree with 2-3 years of experience.
• 1-3 years in a technical role, support role or relevant experience is ideal.
• Some knowledge of databases and SQL is strongly desired.
• Helpdesk experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Windows and Microsoft Office is required.
• Experience in production support in a manufacturing environment is essential.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills; ability to understand real needs behind operations requests.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with automated control systems and user interfaces.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and warehouse management systems.
