About the position

The IT Support Technician - Tier II/III role is designed for an experienced individual who excels in customer service and technical support. This position involves providing help desk support, managing client relationships, and performing IT projects for a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP). The technician will work both in-person and remotely, ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients in the Greater Los Angeles/Orange County area.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain client relationships
  • Solve and close tickets for clients
  • Educate clients
  • Perform and manage projects for clients
  • Track labor and expenses in PSA
  • Grow documentation
  • Choose and recommend products
  • Perform minor physical moves and mounting

Requirements

  • 7+ years of IT experience
  • Windows (both workstation and server) proficiency
  • Mac proficiency
  • Office 365 administration experience
  • VLAN knowledge
  • Server management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and telephone skills
  • Crisis management skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks
  • Experience in handling confidential information
