About the position

The IT Support Technician at Pharmaron is responsible for providing both on-site and remote technical support across various locations, including Exton, PA. This role involves troubleshooting, vendor management, software and hardware installation, and maintenance, ensuring efficient IT operations within the organization. The technician will report directly to the IT Director and will play a crucial role in supporting end-users and managing IT-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support and manage support tickets.
• Collaborate with onsite business leaders and remote IT management.
• Install, deploy, and troubleshoot new PCs.
• Troubleshoot LAN and WAN issues.
• Assist in the Computer System Validation Process.
• Work after hours and weekends as required.
• Strategize with IT management on new service offerings and opportunities.
• Track time and maintain IT documentation.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Director of IT.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent experience and IT certifications.
• 3+ years of end-user support experience in a Windows environment.
• Proficient in infrastructure, including TCP/IP, web, and cloud services.
• Experience working in regulated environments.
• Thorough knowledge of Office 365 installation, troubleshooting, and administration.
• Sound knowledge of Active Directory, VMWare, and Firewalls.
• Knowledge of Data and Information Security processes.
• Comfortable working with onsite and remote users.
• Experience with Team Viewer.
• Ability to fulfill project tasks on time.
