About the position

The IT Support Technician at TeamLogic IT is responsible for managing and supporting clients' IT environments, ensuring system operation and functionality to facilitate business tasks. This role involves providing first contact support for incoming requests, resolving end-user issues, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. The position offers opportunities for career advancement and requires a blend of technical skills and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first contact support of incoming requests to the service desk via telephone, web portal, and email.
  • Prioritize incidents and service requests according to defined processes to meet defined SLAs.
  • Use remote tools and diagnostic utilities to aid in resolving support requests.
  • Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level when remote tools are not appropriate, including hardware repairs and delivery of peripherals.
  • Install and configure hardware and software components throughout various network infrastructure devices.
  • Install antivirus software and ensure virus definitions are up to date.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of workstations, printers, and peripherals.
  • Establish good relationships with all departments and colleagues.
  • Ensure company safety and security standards are met.

Requirements

  • College diploma or university degree in the field of Computer Science or equivalent work experience (5 to 10 years).
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with desktop operating systems including Windows 10, 11 and Mac OS.
  • Experience with server operating systems including Server 2012, Server 2016 is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory is a plus.
  • Experience with RMM (Kaseya, Ninja, ConnectWise) and Autotask PSA is a plus.
  • Valid Driver License and ability to drive to customer locations when required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with server operating systems including Server 2012, Server 2016.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory.
  • Experience with RMM tools like Kaseya, Ninja, ConnectWise.
