About the position

The IT Support Technician will join the team to assist in the migration to Windows 11, providing technical support for end-point devices, applications, and networks. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and documenting issues while ensuring timely resolution of customer requests. The technician will work under direct supervision and may be required to be on call.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, configure, monitor, test, maintain, and troubleshoot end-point devices, applications, or networks.
• Perform accurate documentation of processes and issues.
• Read and interpret technical documentation for moves, changes, and break/fix tasks.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to troubleshoot moderately complex issues.
• Act as a liaison between customers and vendors to resolve requests and problems in a timely manner.

• Strong understanding of end-point devices operations and functions, including PCs, software, network switches, printers, patch panels, phones, and faxes.
• Good understanding of cable plant infrastructure.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Windows 10 and desktop support.
• Familiarity with imaging and Active Directory.
