About the position

As an IT Support Technician at OHM Advisors, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support for hardware and software issues. This position involves managing computer assets, assisting with onboarding and offboarding procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT services across multiple offices in the Metro Detroit/Mid-Michigan area. You will work closely with your IT team and receive guidance from your supervisor, contributing to a collaborative environment focused on community advancement.

Responsibilities

• Provide software and hardware support and resolve issues
• Provision and deploy computers and their supporting hardware
• Manage local inventory of computer assets
• Provide occasional after-hours support
• Travel to remote offices as needed (within a 3-hour drive radius)

Requirements

• 1+ year of equivalent work experience in an IT support role or active enrollment in a relevant degree program
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and mobile devices
• Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 / 11 & Microsoft Office 365
• Excellent interpersonal communications skills, both written and verbal

Nice-to-haves

• Associates or better in Information Technology or related field
