About the position

Lickety Split is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to provide technical support and assistance to employees for various IT-related issues. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software problems, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring effective communication within the IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, particularly with Windows and macOS operating systems, and will be committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems.
  • Assist with network setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
  • Respond to IT support tickets and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain IT infrastructure and security measures.
  • Keep accurate records of IT equipment inventory and software licenses.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, troubleshooting network connectivity issues, and configuring routers and switches.
  • Experience with hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
