About the position

Storm's Edge Technologies is seeking motivated and proactive IT Support Technicians to provide exceptional customer service and technical support. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing client networks, and ensuring timely resolution of technical problems. Technicians will have opportunities for growth from Level 1 to Level 3, with increasing responsibilities and complexity in tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Provide desktop, server, and basic network support from initial response to closure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software issues for clients.
  • Setup and deploy computers/laptops at client offices.
  • Document, track, and monitor issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Respond to technical support requests via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure the operation of servers, networks, and desktops.
  • Work with 3rd party vendors to resolve technical issues.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for 24x7 critical issue support.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of IT support experience for Level 1 Technicians.
  • At least 4 years of IT support experience for Level 2 Technicians.
  • At least 8 years of IT support experience for Level 3 Technicians.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Basic understanding of networks and how they work.
  • A+ Certification is helpful but not required for Level 1.
  • Network+ / Security+ Certification is helpful but not required for Level 2.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in software troubleshooting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish.
