About the position

The IT Support Technician will play a crucial role in supporting users both onsite and remotely, ensuring the smooth operation of the company's IT infrastructure. This position involves troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining IT equipment, and collaborating with the IT Director on various projects to enhance the overall IT environment as the company expands.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
• Troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues, including computers, mobile devices, printers, and network connectivity
• Respond to and resolve support requests via phone, email, and in-person
• Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software
• Perform routine system checks and updates to ensure security and efficiency
• Support users across multiple locations, including remote offices
• Manage and monitor remote systems, including WiFi, networking, and access control
• Answer inbound technical support calls
• Document and track support requests and resolutions in the help desk system
• Collaborate with the IT Director on IT projects and initiatives
• Assist with user onboarding and offboarding processes
• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot conference rooms and AV equipment
• Configure and deploy network infrastructure for new remote offices
• Manage data backup procedures to safeguard critical business data and ensure data recovery in case of system failures or disasters

Requirements

• Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills
• Desktop Computers and Printer Support experience
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server, and Microsoft 365
• Experience with Ubiquiti is a plus
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Relevant certification in IT or related field
• Must have a valid driver's license
