About the position

The IT Support Technician at Cemstone is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for mobile devices and IT technologies, primarily focusing on Android-based tablets. This role involves both onsite and remote support, ensuring that all IT equipment operates efficiently in a manufacturing environment. The technician will also handle asset disposal tracking and may need to travel to remote sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Support mobile devices, computer software, and network equipment.
• Answer support calls.
• Install and configure computer hardware and software.
• Support IT equipment in a manufacturing location.
• Asset disposal tracking.
• Travel to remote sites as needed.
• Occasional late evening shifts and early morning shifts.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft Windows.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Android operating systems.
• Experience with desktop computer hardware.
• Experience with wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, Cellular).
• Basic understanding of data networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, etc.).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have reliable transportation.
