In this role, you will perform a mixture of help desk, field service, and staffing duties for our managed service clients. You will be responsible for tracking all time in our ticketing system, traveling to client sites to resolve issues, collaborating with a team on various projects, and managing a queue of support requests. The position offers the chance to work across a diverse range of environments, allowing you to enhance your knowledge and skillsets continuously. The IT Support Technician will be tasked with responding to customer support tickets promptly, providing concierge-level technical support, documenting resolutions to support requests daily, and escalating tickets as necessary. You will install, migrate, and manage Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2019) and provide both on-site and remote support for issues ranging from simple desktop configurations to complex network troubleshooting, including firewall implementation and support for Windows Server, Azure, and Exchange Online. Effective communication with clients via phone and email is essential, as is the ability to explain resolutions, answer questions, and provide professional advice as needed. Additionally, you will actively collaborate in the development and maintenance of IT Support processes and travel to deploy machines or support customer-level efforts as required.
