About the position

The IT Support Technician will provide hands-on technical support to medical staff at the main campus in Houston. This temporary role is crucial due to the high visibility of the position and the need for immediate assistance while a team member is on leave. The role has the potential for extension based on performance during the contract period.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on technical support to doctors and nurses at the medical center.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Assist with the deployment of new systems and applications.
  • Utilize ServiceNow for ticketing and support management.
  • Offer help desk support for various technical inquiries.

Requirements

  • Proficient in desktop support for Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  • Strong technical support skills in a medical environment.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of application support and deployment processes.
