About the position

The IT Support role is designed to assist the current Desktop Support individual with an increasing workload due to higher ticket volumes. This position focuses on managing and maintaining all level 1 tasks, allowing the internal resource to concentrate on level 2 and 3 support. The role is critical in ensuring efficient asset management and basic troubleshooting for end-user equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Imaging computers
  • Staging equipment
  • Working in ITSM tool
  • Adding users into Azure AD
  • Taking users out of Azure AD
  • Basic troubleshooting on end users equipment
  • Conducting inventory assessment and forecasting
  • Tracking inventory
  • Retrieving equipment from departed employees
  • Recycling equipment
  • Entering assets into ITSM asset inventory
  • Managing and configuring mobile phones using Apple Business Manager
  • Cleaning incoming equipment and storing it appropriately for future use

Requirements

  • At least 6 months of hands-on IT support experience
  • Proficiency in Support and Troubleshooting
  • Experience with Windows 10
  • Knowledge of Desktop support
  • Familiarity with Help desk operations
  • Understanding of Hardware support
  • Experience with Office 365
