About the position

Rouge MoCap is seeking a highly skilled IT specialist to enhance the effectiveness of our IT infrastructure. This role involves managing and maintaining workstations, server and network infrastructure, and providing technical support to users. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in IT networking and security, along with experience in an entertainment studio environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all workstations on-site, keeping a detailed inventory of all machines and maintenance logs.
• Manage and maintain server and network infrastructure.
• Data management and archiving.
• Maintaining and resolving service requests for active directory.
• Manage and maintain security infrastructure and protocols.
• Manage security audits with third-party vendors.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding of new employees, including setting up emails, Slack, F-track, Jira, etc.
• Maintain and manage software subscriptions company-wide and keep detailed records of subscription due dates.
• Provide frontline technical support to users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Assist in user training and onboarding.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes, procedures, and issue resolution for future reference and implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
• 2 - 4 years professional experience in a similar role.
• Solid foundation in IT networking and security.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current hardware and software.
• Entertainment Studio experience is a must.
• Ability to diagnose and fix hardware issues with workstations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of using/setting up virtual machines is a plus.
• Knowledge of using shell commands to push changes across multiple machines.
