About the position

The IT Systems Analyst is responsible for designing, testing, implementing, and troubleshooting IT applications and for ensuring the availability, stability, and reliability of those applications. They monitor system performance, identify, and resolve technical issues, and ensure efficient operation of all clinical systems. The analyst also provides technical support to end-users and collaborates with other IT teams to resolve complex technical problems related to clinical systems. The Workday IT Solution Analyst is responsible for providing technical and workflow support for Workday, Tecsys, and related Supply Chain applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design, test, implement, and troubleshoot IT applications.
  • Ensure availability, stability, and reliability of IT applications.
  • Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues.
  • Provide technical support to end-users.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical problems.
  • Support operational efficiency and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to junior analysts.

Requirements

  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Required: 6 years of experience in healthcare clinical workflows and/or IT support, including experience with nursing, provider, or ancillary department technologies OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of inter-related solutions and IT systems knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Supports operational efficiency and identifies opportunities for optimization.
  • Stays current with skills and emerging industry trends.

Nice-to-haves

  • 8+ years of experience in healthcare clinical workflows and/or IT support.
  • Exceptional knowledge of inter-related solutions and IT systems.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration with clinical leadership and executive management.
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior members of the department.
  • Strategic thinking and alignment of clinical systems with organizational goals.
