About the position

As an IT Systems Analyst at ProMed Molded Products, Inc., you will play a crucial role in providing in-person systems support, analysis, and troubleshooting related to computer systems, hardware, and software, with a strong emphasis on cyber security. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that ProMed's brand, philosophy, systems, policies, and procedures are properly implemented and adhered to. You will be part of a dedicated team that strives to manufacture products that significantly impact people's lives, treating every component and finished device with the utmost care as if it were for a beloved family member or friend. In this position, you will edit and create procedural documents related to cyber security, working closely with third-party cyber security experts to discover Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and seek compliance with the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). You will coordinate with managers and users to identify systems problems and cyber security gaps, assess the severity of these issues, and prioritize responses accordingly. Your role will also involve performing risk assessments, audits, and reviewing penetration tests to ensure the proper functioning of data processing activities and security measures. You will be responsible for identifying and restricting access to sensitive, confidential, or high-security data using the principle of least privilege. Collaboration will be key in this role, as you will manage projects, including communication, documentation, and reporting. Additionally, you will create policies, reference guides, and tutorial documents while monitoring IT industry standards and best practices to incorporate them into ProMed's technology operating environment. You may also contribute to or lead server and other IT infrastructure-based project work as assigned, and act as an escalation point for IT Service Desk Analysis, which may include end-user or workstation support. Overall, you are expected to develop acceptable work habits, skills, knowledge, and contributions consistent with the IT Systems Analyst position, while performing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in MIS, IT, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years working experience as an IT Analyst or similar function.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Microsoft Windows Server, DNS, TCP/IP, encryption, firewalls, switching, VLAN and SSL certificates.
  • Experience with Administration of Azure/O365.
  • Administrative experience with SharePoint and Teams.
  • Analytical thinking with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized with attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in IT Security.
  • CISSP or CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • Motivated self-starter able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with CMMC, ITAR and related.
  • Ability to communicate in Hmong and/or Spanish, in addition to English.
