About the position

As an IT Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing business processes and enhancing internal systems. Your responsibilities will include analyzing operational procedures, managing applications, developing software, providing technical support, and driving continuous improvements to IT infrastructure. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise to streamline operations and implement impactful solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze current operational procedures and identify inefficiencies to implement system modifications.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of line-of-business applications, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Research, design, and manage software programs, creating applications and conducting rigorous testing for stability and performance.
  • Provide high-quality IT support, troubleshooting, and user training to ensure efficient use of IT systems.
  • Gather feedback from internal customers and develop solutions to drive continuous enhancements to IT infrastructure and applications.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and develop tailored IT solutions.
  • Interface with existing programs, identify areas for improvements, and implement updates.
  • Debug software issues, write technical documentation, and train end-users.
  • Maintain the IT infrastructure, ensuring system efficiency and security.
  • Provide responsive resolutions to IT incidents, supporting a fast-paced business environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT systems analysis, software development, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server for database management and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft platforms, including Windows desktop operating systems, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Understanding of cloud and network infrastructure, with a focus on Microsoft ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and .NET development is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with the Made2Manage ERP system is a plus.
