About the position

The IT Systems Configuration Manager will lead the Configuration Management team at a prominent community-owned healthcare provider in South San Francisco. This role involves overseeing the implementation and modification of healthcare application configurations, ensuring adherence to best practices, and collaborating with stakeholders to develop a multi-year planning roadmap. The position offers a hybrid work model, combining in-office and remote work, and provides an opportunity to contribute positively to the local community while enjoying comprehensive medical benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Configuration Management team in implementing new configurations and modifying existing ones.
  • Work with key stakeholders to create a multi-year planning roadmap.
  • Ensure best practices are followed in configuration management.
  • Write documentation related to configurations and changes made.
  • Perform upgrades to existing configurations.

Requirements

  • 2 years of Management or Team Lead experience.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Experience configuring Health Care Applications and knowledge of best practices (e.g., Artera, healthTrio, FitBliss, MHK, MedHok, HEALTHsuite).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with healthcare claims and eligibility systems such as MedHOK and HEALTHsuite.
  • Knowledge of coding and payment rules for Medicare, Medi-Cal, and Title.
  • Familiarity with process improvement techniques.
