About the position

The IT Systems Integration Engineer at Cumming Group will play a crucial role in defining and implementing technology integration for newly acquired and merged organizations. This position involves leading global M&A projects, collaborating with technology leadership, and ensuring seamless integration into existing systems. The role is pivotal in enhancing technology integration processes and providing technical support post-integration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead M&A technology integration projects, including discovery of existing technology and determining integration into Cumming Group Systems.
  • Assist in the technology discovery process to ensure all systems are accounted for.
  • Ensure adherence to established technology standards while developing bespoke technology integration plans for M&A organizations.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to existing technology integration processes.
  • Execute technical project tasks based on established project plans.
  • Collaborate with Support Desk and act as a technical SME for technology-related incidents post-integration.

Requirements

  • Experience working on an IT Project Team.
  • Technical knowledge of network infrastructure, including firewall, switching, routing, and wireless concepts.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and 365 Administration, specifically Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online.
  • Previous experience with Windows file shares, DFS, SMB, NTFS Permissions, and file copy technology (robocopy, etc.).
  • Experience with Intune, Autopilot, and other MDM/RMM technologies.
  • Knowledge of cyber security concepts and securing technology infrastructure.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
  • Previous M&A technology integration experience.
  • High attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • BS in IT or Computer Systems or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years' experience as a Systems/Network Administrator or equivalent role.
