About the position

We are seeking a dynamic IT Systems Specialist to ensure our IT infrastructure runs efficiently and securely. This position will support and maintain our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance of servers, networks, and other systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing IT operations and be adept at problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software programs and components using a variety of methodologies, including but not limited to C#, ASP.NET, Razor Pages, SQL, XML, HTML, JSON, jQuery, JavaScript, and Python.
• Debug, test, and troubleshoot software programs across multiple platforms and servers.
• Administer and maintain business systems across multiple platforms and servers.
• Collaborate with Operations Staff, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance and Senior Developers to help design new features and resolve problems.
• Utilize .NET platform to deliver timely and high-quality products that exceed the end user's expectations.
• Learn and research new programming languages, technology, and patterns.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Netsuite Administrator and/or Developer (Netsuite certifications preferred).
• 2+ years of experience with relational database management (MSSQL, MySQL, PL/SQL, ORACLE).
• 2+ years of experience with EDI & System Integrations.
• Familiarity with API-based communication systems employing both SOAP and REST protocols.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience with full software development life cycle and project management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience with the Shopify retail platform (Including REST and GraphQL integration).
• 2+ years of experience with Visual Studio, VB.NET / C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, ADO.NET.
• 2+ years of experience with front-end languages (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript).
• Familiarity with AGILE software development methodologies.
• Understanding of the fundamentals of ecommerce including payment systems, PCI compliance, customer navigation expectations, checkout flow, and order management concepts.
• Experience with responsive web design including Bootstrap framework.
