About the position

This position at Froedtert Hospital is responsible for providing support, configuration, and deployment activities related to desktop computers and associated technologies. The role includes managing hardware, software, and unified communications technologies, ensuring high system performance, and collaborating with IT teams for project deployments. The position requires on-site work with a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for desktop computers and peripherals including hardware, printers, and client access software.
• Support video and teleconferencing equipment and telehealth initiatives.
• Deploy and support mobile devices and troubleshoot basic phone and network issues.
• Serve as an escalation point for hardware and software-related issues.
• Collaborate with IT teams and Facilities Management for project deployments.
• Maintain high system performance through sound technology implementation and IT best practices.
• Investigate and document information security violations and incidents.
• Assist in developing process documentation for the team.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of Information Technology typically acquired through an Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory account management.
• Exceptional computer skills with MS Office and MS Exchange/Outlook.
• Good interpersonal skills for communication with hospital personnel, vendors, and IT staff.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under limited supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
