About the position

The IT Technical Lead for Workday Prism is responsible for managing all technical aspects of the Workday Prism solutions for Human Resources within a global biopharmaceutical company. This role involves overseeing the design and development of Workday Prism solutions, providing technical guidance, and ensuring cohesive solutions between business and technical teams. The position requires a strong understanding of HR processes, data analytics, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities

• Manage all technical aspects of the Workday Prism solutions for Human Resources.
• Oversee design and development of Workday Prism solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to development and support resources.
• Provide input on approach, design, and estimation of effort.
• Advise on the impact of potential changes and roadmap.
• Work closely with both business and technical teams to ensure cohesive solutions.
• Engage vendor resources for system issues or new concepts.
• Understand HR processes and operations, systems, data interfaces, and data.
• Be responsible for Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes related to this application.
• Stay current with data analytics and automation trends, best practices, and innovation opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant IT experience.
• Knowledge and working experience of Workday Prism.
• Robust proficiency in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) policies and procedures.
• Prior experience in Data Engineering.
• Proficiency in System Designs.
• Exceptional Decision-Making skills.
• Innovative, proactive, and self-directed.
