About the position

The IT Technical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of strategic IT projects. This role ensures that projects align with company strategies and goals while managing day-to-day activities, project teams, and resources. The manager leads complex IT projects through all phases of the project life-cycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery within defined constraints such as scope, schedule, and budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall direction and execution of strategic IT projects.
• Manage day-to-day activities of one or more projects, including team formulation and project execution plans.
• Lead complex IT projects through the full project life-cycle.
• Develop and execute project execution plans, including deliverables, goals, milestones, and budget management.
• Direct project team resources to deliver projects within agreed constraints.
• Maintain project and technical documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Ensure effective communication among project stakeholders.
• Brief upper management on project activities, costs, schedules, and performance.
• Participate in departmental management processes such as planning and budgeting.
• Develop procurement deliverables for external services and materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Leading SAFe Certified.
• Experience with Microsoft Project or equivalent tools.
• Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
• Good understanding of risk management and contingency planning.

Nice-to-haves

• Scrum Master Certification preferred.
• Agile Project Management Certification preferred.
• ITIL Foundations Certification preferred.
• Experience with ServiceNow in Agile Development and Project modules preferred.
• Experience serving as a Scrum Master is desired.
• Experience executing agile projects is desired.
