About the position

Children's Aid is seeking an IT Technical Project Manager to support the Chief Information Officer and the Information Technology Department. This role is pivotal in driving strategic initiatives within the IT Division, requiring strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will build cross-functional relationships and manage various organizational matters, ensuring effective communication across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and effective project management oversight in all areas of infrastructure within the Information Technology Division.
  • Function as a value-adding thought partner to the Director of IT Support Services and senior IT leadership.
  • Identify issues for escalation to the CIO and address non-critical matters with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with IT Leadership on the continuous implementation of designated infrastructure initiatives.
  • Occasionally travel within the local NYC five-borough area.
  • Execute other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience in managing complex IT systems, cloud migrations, healthcare, Cisco, Azure, and telecom.
  • PMP certification or enrollment in an approved certification program within 6 months of employment.
  • Technical background with hands-on experience with technology equipment and business software tools.
  • Exceptional organization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively both as a team member and independently.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting quantitative research and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • PowerBI experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Asana and/or SysAid is a plus.
