About the position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Recruiter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent in the IT sector. This role requires a strong understanding of technical roles and the ability to connect with potential candidates through various sourcing methods. The IT Recruiter will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's growth by ensuring we have the right talent to meet our business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize various recruiting platforms and tools, including Bullhorn to source and manage candidates effectively.
  • Conduct HR sourcing activities to identify potential candidates for technical roles through job boards, social media, and networking events.
  • Engage in cold calling to reach out to prospective candidates and build relationships within the IT community.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle from job posting to offer negotiation, ensuring a smooth candidate experience throughout the process.
  • Assist in training development initiatives for new recruiters or team members as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and progress within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Support talent management efforts by providing insights on market trends and candidate feedback.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an IT Recruiter or in a similar recruitment role, with a strong understanding of technical job requirements.
  • Familiarity with recruiting software such as Bullhorn is preferred.
  • Prior experience in technology staff augmentation or consulting firm is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate offers and close candidates effectively.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage candidates at all levels of experience.
  • Experience in training development is a plus, contributing to the growth of recruitment practices within the organization.
  • BA/BS degree in Business or related field preferred.
