About the position

The Los Angeles Dodgers Information Technology Department is seeking a dedicated Technical Specialist to join our team at our remote site in Camelback Ranch facility in Arizona. As the sole IT on-site technician, you will have complete ownership of all technology, ensuring seamless operations and providing comprehensive technical support. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity and functionality of all IT systems, and you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that include installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of computer hardware, software applications, peripherals, and endpoints. You will collaborate with remote IT teams to implement, maintain, and enforce IT policies and procedures, managing complex network user account access and permissions, including those for visitors to the complex and remote workers. In this position, you will ensure that all systems and endpoints are updated with the latest patches and security updates, utilizing tools such as Intune, JAMF, Kandji, and AutoMox for effective Patch Management. You will also manage the inventory of IT assets, ensuring proper tracking and documentation. Your role will involve troubleshooting and repairing faulty endpoints related to both hardware and software, as well as server and network infrastructure. Participation in on-call duties and special events is expected, along with occasional travel to remote sites for support as needed. You will also collaborate with corporate offices on managing Group Policy Objects (GPO) and will be responsible for researching and evaluating new technical products to enhance our IT capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Patch Management using Intune, JAMF, Kandji, AutoMox.

Requirements

  • Four (4) plus years as desktop support within an organization supporting more than 300 users.
  • College graduate or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 25% both domestically and internationally.
  • Willing and able to work an 8-hour shift beginning at 7:00 AM MST with overtime as needed.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience providing executive level support.
  • Experience developing and providing Information Technology training for end users.
  • Demonstrate advanced troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11 Operating System and Microsoft 365 products.
  • Understanding of managing, changing and implementing Group Policy Objects (GPO).
  • Understanding of managing, changing and implementing patch management with Intune, JAMF, Kandji, AutoMox.
  • Experience supporting various operating systems (Windows, MAC, Linux, iOS, Android) and hardware platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks, organize and prioritize workload efficiently.
  • Able to recognize and maintain confidentiality of work materials and issues as appropriate.
