About the position

The IT Support Technician at Yakshna Solutions, Inc. (YSI) is responsible for providing comprehensive technical support services for a variety of IT and audio-visual (AV) issues. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing hardware and software systems to ensure their availability and functionality. The technician will also engage in preventive maintenance, customer support, and the implementation of system modifications and upgrades, all while adhering to IT policies and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide support services on a wide range of IT and AV issues, interpreting IT policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Conduct analyses and recommend resolutions for complex issues affecting IT services.
• Test and optimize the functionality of systems, networks, and data.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and software to ensure system availability.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and repair on IT and AV equipment.
• Provide customer support and troubleshoot complex problems to minimize interruptions in business activities.
• Monitor the availability and functionality of networks and systems, detecting and reporting problems.
• Participate in testing and installing systems modifications and upgrades.
• Prepare and present reports, representing the organization in interactions with other organizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field of study.
• 4+ years of experience in IT support/Helpdesk.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Active CompTIA Security+ certification.

Nice-to-haves

• Associate's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in troubleshooting for 4 years.
