About the position

The IT Technician position is a full-time role focused on providing upper-tier technical support to office users and production line equipment during the second shift. The technician will be responsible for resolving technical issues, managing support cases, and maintaining accurate documentation and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Supports walk ups for internal applications, hardware, printers, and remote technology.
• Actively supports office and production PC users and resolves issues.
• Uses IT ticketing system to manage support cases.
• Initial imaging, installing, and repairs for desktops, printers, laptops, etc.
• Maintains accurate inventory and performs regular inventory inspection.
• Writes and maintains accurate documentation on procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required, bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 1-5 years of IT support experience required.
• Technically adept with a working knowledge of computers and office software.
• Familiarity with Windows Operating system and Microsoft Office.
• Basic understanding of LAN, cabling, and Networking.
• Experience providing remote support.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
