About the position

We are looking for a tech-savvy IT Technician & Digital Media Specialist to manage IT operations, create engaging social media content, and lead advertising initiatives. This role involves overseeing IT infrastructure, developing a customer-focused app, and exploring AI integration to enhance customer interactions and operational efficiency, particularly within the cannabis industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain IT infrastructure across four locations, including managing over 250 security cameras and complex network systems.
• Ensure the security and reliability of internal networks, internet services, and backup systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing tech support to team members as needed.
• Implement data protection measures to ensure compliance and security for sensitive customer and company information.
• Lead the exploration and implementation of AI solutions to enhance customer interactions and improve operational efficiency.
• Design and develop a customer-facing app that integrates loyalty programs, product catalogs, and streamlined ordering options.
• Develop and execute social media strategies to increase engagement and build brand awareness across platforms.
• Create eye-catching, on-brand content (graphics, photos, videos) that aligns with our brand identity and resonates with our audience.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media content with promotions, events, and campaigns.
• Create and manage digital ad campaigns (PPC, social ads) to increase online visibility and drive traffic to our physical locations.
• Track and analyze digital performance metrics to measure and improve the effectiveness of advertising and social media strategies.

Requirements

• 3+ years in IT management, network administration, or related fields.
• Proven experience in social media content creation and digital advertising.
• Strong knowledge of network administration, with experience managing large-scale camera systems and cybersecurity.
• Experience in mobile app development (iOS/Android) is preferred, with familiarity in AI integration being a strong plus.
• Familiarity with cannabis industry compliance, advertising restrictions, and customer engagement strategies is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective team collaboration and tech support.
• Ability to obtain a green MED badge (background check/fingerprinting).
