About the position

The IT Support Specialist at Ninyo & Moore will provide essential Level 1 and 2 help desk support to users across the company. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software issues, managing users in a Windows network environment, and supporting mobile devices. The specialist will collaborate with the IT team on various projects and must be prepared to handle technical emergencies with professionalism and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 & 2 help desk support to users throughout the company.
  • Support desktop PCs and laptops, troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software problems.
  • Manage users in a Windows network environment.
  • Perform server management in a VMware virtual environment.
  • Provide support for iOS/Android mobile devices.
  • Collaborate with the IT team on various department projects.

Requirements

  • A.S./B.S. degree in a related field or relevant experience and certifications.
  • 2-5 years of experience in IT support.
  • Strong background in all versions of Windows, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Server.
  • Skilled in Windows deployment/configuration, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and WINS.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate professional communication skills.
  • Maintain a positive and calm demeanor during technical emergencies.
  • Availability to work after hours when necessary.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Wireless Standards, network security, and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with data backup & recovery procedures and databases.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing printing issues.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.

Benefits

  • Hourly wage of $25-30.
